John M. Roll Yuma Courthouse

This design build project is a 2 story, 57,000 square foot building. The project was built and named after the Federal Judge who was shot and killed in 2011 at a supermarket in Tucson. The building has some unique features from the solar, too the ceilings in the courtrooms. One thing you may not notice when visiting this building is the welded 16 gauge steel duct work. This was installed to help mitigate sound transfer in the building. Another feature of this building is in the mailroom, which contained a special decontamination exhaust system and containment tank. They spared no expense when it came to the plumbing and/or mechanical for this project. The mechanical system consists of the most start of the art chillers and skid mounted pumping systems, on the market today.
